Allen & Heath are celebrating 20 years of their legendary premium Xone 92 mixer and releasing the Xone 92-A ‘Limited Edition’
What have they done to make you part with the best part of £1500? First off is the look, the face plate is oldskool silver, which fits perfectly if you have a pair (or four) of the original Technic SL1210 Mk1 or of course the newer Technics SL1200MK7 which would look mighty fine coupled up with this beast. Limited edition is emblazoned across the front of the chassis, and it boasts a specially designed serial number plate, which is engraved. Additional items include a dog tag with the serial number engraved, an individually signed and numbered fine art print from the Worxlab and even the box has had a limited edition overhaul!
The circuitry is still 100% analogue as it always was, and is still partnered with the the precision 4-band EQ controls. The phono channels now have optimised RIAA preamps to deliver the best possible sound quality for vinyl DJs – helping to lift unprecedented detail from the grooves of your collection.
You’ll be pleased to know that the filter section has been made more user-friendly as have the VCF controls.
There will only 920 of these beauties and they will be available April 2024. Look out for them pre-orders!
