Our friends over at The Red Knot Collective have been in touch to tell us their inaugural ‘Transmission 001’ is now up on Mixcloud.
Dave Currie has pulled this one together, featuring tracks from Mildlife, Daniel Ogren, Jim, Payfone, Sven Wunder amongst others and tells us “I’m still kind of hibernating and not ready for too much up-tempo stuff just yet. This mix is my pick of the best downtempo stuff from last year. I don’t get to play this stuff out too often at our events but it’s perfect for a cold January Sunday, hope you like it”.
Having played it out in the office this morning we can confirm we do… so much so we immediately played it again! A quality downtempo mix that’s good for the soul. We’re expecting more very soon please!!
Dave added “we’re planning on dropping a lot more Transmission mixes this year as we invite the Collective members to pull together some of the tunes they are loving right now and share them with you guys. Stay tuned over the coming months”.
