Lets face it, any self-respecting vinyl buff will never miss a chance to show off their collection and this tasty looking display rack will allow you to do that in style!
It popped up on our Temu timeline earlier today and caught our eye immediately! Firstly we thought it would make a good prop in the background for some of our filmed studio mixes, but also would look pretty cool in the house as a nice display piece… of course allowing you to selectively show off some of your most prized assets at the same time… it’s a vinyl thing!
As could have been foreseen, no sooner had we come up with the idea we were off down a rabbit hole about which would be the best old school dance tunes to take centre stage at the front of the display rack, that is, after we deciding that technically, if you were going to do it right you needed categories for rarity and cover design.
We won’t bore you with our full hour discussing some of our choices, but suffice to say a number of releases on the Warp label made the grade, as did the original black and white Baby Ford ‘Oochy Koochy’ for it’s design, and for all round coolness you’d be hard pushed to beat New Order’s ‘Blue Monday’ sleeve design… what would you choose?
Anyway, the rack itself can hold up to 100 records and the price at time of publishing is £24.79!
